New Kato crane for O’Carroll

O’Carroll Haulage and Crane Hire will add a Kato CR-250Rv city crane to its fleet at the end of September.

The 25 tonne capacity crane has an EU Stage V engine, 29 metre main boom, 8.2 metre hydraulic fly and 7.5 tonnne searcher hook.

Based in Limerick, Ireland, O’Carroll Haulage and Crane Hire owns and operates a large fleet of mobile cranes in capacities from 50 to 650 tonnes and provides haulage services as well as skating and spider crane services.

Maurice O’Carroll, O’Carroll Haulage and Crane Hire proprietor, said, “Having operated Kato city cranes for a number of years we have no hesitation re-investing in Kato.

“The Staff at Rivertek are very helpful, the back-up and parts availability we get from Rivertek is first class and this was an important factor for us re-investing in Kato.”
