Palazzani extends spider to 48 m

Italy's Palazzani Industrie Spa has put a new, bigger boom on its Ragno XTJ 42 model to make the 12.5 t 48 m working height XTJ48, its tallest spider ever. Available also in a wheeled version, the 35 kW diesel/2.2 kW electric-powered machine has 15 m of outreach and a maximum basket payload capacity of 200 kg. Boom rotation is a continuous 360º, and basket rotation is 90º and 80º. Its stabiliser foot print is 6.3 by 4.1 m, and it is 8700 mm long, 2475 mm tall, and 1900 mm wide.

Also, the Paderno-based company has put Sauer Danfoss pump and controls on its 23 m working height Ragno TSJ 23 spider to give faster boom movements, and added automatic stabilisation, as well.
