Australian construction company Piety THP has bought three new Raimondi tower cranes from Raimondi Cranes’ official agent Strictly Cranes Pty Ltd (Strictly Cranes) which is based in New South Wales, Australia. The order comprised two MRT159s with 1.7 metre masts and a 10 tonne MRT152 with a standard mast section.
The cranes will initially be used on prestigious Sydney waterfront development ‘One the Waterfront’ for a period of three years where they will be tasked with lifting reinforced bars, precast panels, timber, formwork and scaffolding. The cranes will also hoist excavators and other heavy machinery out of the foundation hole.
The three cranes were erected in one day each, with Strictly Cranes arranging technicians and riggers to erect the cranes as safely and as quickly as possible. Strictly Cranes also arranged for tier one operators and dogmen to ensure the smooth operation of the crane and that project timelines are met. “We do this for many of our clients, and certainly the service includes monitoring by Strictly Cranes on a 24-hour basis,” said Ramey Alkhoshaibi, founder and commercial director, Strictly Cranes. “We don’t just provide a crane, we provide the labour and the lifting accessories, including Boscaro brick cages, man boxes, kibbles for concrete, together with first aid cages as required by safety site regulations.”
