Planet's WAH workshop gives delegates opportunity to try its products

UK manufacturer and distributor, Planet Platforms, organised a Work at Height (WAH) workshop at its Wakefield premises at the beginning of July. The workshop was designed to give attendees the opportunity to try out some of the equipment and collect some useful health and safety information.
Marketing manager, Tim Mee said, "Last year's Retail WAH workshop was very well received by the delegates and the press. Whilst it was an event that focused on the key health and safety issues, the feedback we received was that many people would have liked to try out the products.
"These workshops were organised for people to do exactly that. The only other opportunity to see and try out access equipment is at an exhibition but we wanted to organise something that was more personal and informal."
The day included brief presentations of topical health and safety issues followed by demonstrations in Planet's new 240000 ft2 building and a chance to try out machines.
Products shown on the day included: PROdeck and Power Tower; JLG's 10MSP and 1230ES; Instant UpRight's aluminium towers and Alutec, Planet's aluminium towers.
