Superior Industries has unveiled the Liberty Jaw Crusher, a new machine for crushing applications.

Working as a primary crusher, the unit compresses material in stone, concrete, asphalt, and ore applications.

The United States-based manufacturer acquired the design when it bought Canadian company Clemro Western last year. Acting on customer feedback, its engineers redesigned the unit and added a number of new features.

According to the manufacturer, the product is engineered with an aggressive nip angle. This maintains the machine’s ability to consistently and efficiently grab and process material.

The company has also designed a set of integrated lifting points into the jaw dies for safe replacement or installation.

The crushers are manufactured in feed openings of 45.7 by 91.4 cm (18 in by 36 in) to 91.4 by 121.9 cm (36 in by 48 in).
