AFI Resale is making a machine’s full service history now available online

Powered access re-sale agent AFI is now offering greater transparency in the sale of second-hand equipment by posting a machine’s full service history and LOLER inspection reports on its website.

AFI will make the information available through the Special Offers section of its website first, before considering rolling out the initiative for all machines.

AFI director Nick Selley said: “This development is about giving our customers complete peace of mind because when they look on our website at a machine they are interested in buying they can now see the service history, LOLERs and pre-delivery inspection sheets specific to that machine.

“These documents will show purchasers how rigorously the machines have been maintained over the course of their working life and the stringent checks that have been carried out."
