PJ Allan Sales & Service in Leicestershire, UK, has fitted a Niftylift V130 telescopic boom to the first Mercedes-Benz Unimog U3000 in the UK. The unit, sold to a power transmission company in the south of the country, has a working height of 13.5 m, maximum outreach of 6.2 m, and a safe working load of 200 kg. The Unimog carrier features Euro 3 diesel engines from 150 to 218 bhp, electro-pneumatic shift transmission, pneumatically selectable all-wheel drive and an integral transfer case to provide eight forward and eight reverse gears.
