15 April 2008

Volga Dnepr, specialist in the movement of heavy and outsize air cargo, recently worked with Antonov Airlines, through the Ruslan International joint venture, to move a 65 tonne power house. It was flown from from the UK to N'Djamena in Chad for Exxon Mobil on an Antonov AN-124 heavy lift cargo plane. Using equipment developed by Ruslan the 23 m unit was transferred from the aircraft on to a roller-bed truck at the end of the flight without needing a crane.
