APEX starts next week

19 April 2017

The ninth APEX exhibition promises to be one of the most successful in the event’s history when it starts in less than two weeks, 2-4 May, at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Visitors can register in advance at the show website and avoid paying the €20 fee at the entrance. Pre-registration is available until Friday 17:00, Netherlands local time. The website also includes a ‘virtual floorplan’, allowing visitors to view the equipment that each exhibitor will show and also to request appointments.

See www.APEXshow.com for details.

The stands for the APEX aerial platform show were sold out months in advance, including almost all the top manufacturers of access equipment, namely; JLG, Manitou, Genie, Teupen, Skyjack, Multitel Pagliero, Holland Lift, Snorkel, Altrex, Imer, Power Towers, Oil & Steel, Haulotte, CTE, Bronto, Ruthmann, Time International, Riwal, Socage, Airo Tigieffe, Palfinger, Dinolift, Hinowa and Teupen.

See the full APEX Showguide in the May issue of Access International, due to publish this week for a comprehensive roundup of  new and interesting equipment set to be at the show.

Eight Chinese aerial platform manufacturers are also attending, which is a record for APEX and indicative of the recent growth in the Chinese aerial platform market.

Tony Kenter, managing director of show organiser Industrial Promotions International (I.P.I.), said; “It is very pleasing to completely sell out the indoor and outside areas of APEX 2017 a full five months before the event. We are anticipating one of the most successful APEX shows ever, helped by the improved buying climate that can now be seen in Europe’s access rental industry.

“Visitors to APEX, in addition to seeing over 85 exhibitors of access equipment, will also have the benefit of free access to the adjoining International Rental Exhibition (IRE), which is also now sold out. IRE will see more than 66 brands covering compact earthmoving equipment, gensets, rental software and much more, and represents an added bonus for APEX visitors.”

The first seven APEX shows took place at the MECC in Maastricht and in 2014 it moved to the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam.

APEX 2017 is organized by Industrial Promotions International BV (IPI) from Goor and is officially supported by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and by Access International.
