Birmingham, UK, headquartered Armoury Group has established a new regional office in the UK city of Sheffield because of significant business gains it has made in the region in recent months. Most recently, the company was awarded a £400,000 (US$635,000) contract for the demolition of the ageing campus of Sheffield Hallam University, which is undergoing a redevelopment scheme.

Jim McEwan, Armoury's business development director, will head the new office. He said of the move: "Our investment in this new office demonstrates our long-term commitment to the city and the wider region as we continue to buck the trend and grow our market share. Sheffield provides an ideal location due to its excellent transport links and, combined with our midlands HQ, we will now be able to cover an even wider geographical area from Scotland right down to the M25. It will really be a great asset to us as we continue our growth."
