Following its Pedestrian Tunnel Genius designed to protect pedestrians from falling objects on building sites, Italy-based Big Astor will premiere its new Genius Mak 1 ultralight scissor lift at Intermat.

The machine is powered by rechargeable batteries and can reach a working height of 4 m. It is supplied with self-blocking wheels for efficient movement on worksites.

The Genius Mak 1 is made entirely of aluminium and weighs about 75 kg, so it can be easily transported. Its compact dimensions are also designed to aid transportation – in closed configuration it measures 1.15 m x 0.78 x 0.52 m.

Big Astor says the Mak 1 can be used outside and indoors, working for any task up to 4 m high, from the construction and industrial sectors to the mechanical and electricity sectors.

Big Astor can be found at hall 5A, sector K, stand 071, during April's Intermat exhibtion in Paris, France.
