Liebherr's new italian rental subsidiary, liebherr noleggio, started operations at the start of 2004 in lallio, near bergamo, and will have 50 machines in its fleet by the end of 2004.

Roberto simoni, head of the rental operation - he was appointed in september after 10 years in sales with liebherr dealer ciemme service in trentino - told ce the aim was to double the fleet by the end of 2005 with a new depot for the turin area planned for next summer liebherr also has rental operations in germany, france and spain.
