Houston, USA, based contractor Cherry has gained an award of merit from the American Builders and Contractors at the latter's Excellence in Construction Awards competition. The award was made for the work Cherry conducted during the disassembly of a lecithin de-oiling plant in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Cherry was required to carry out precision disassembly of the plant during which it had to meticulously document all of the components so that the plant could be safely shipped and reassembled on a site at Indore in India.

The ABC Awards are intended to recognise outstanding construction projects in the commercial and industrial industry.
