Tracked platform specialist CMC has expanded its presence in Italy, appointing Effemme Piattaforme (Rappresentanze) as its official distributor for the Lombard region.

Equipment provider Effemme specialises in the sale of new and used truck-mounted aerial platforms, articulated and telescopic booms and spider lifts. It was founded by Filippo and Mauro Rimondi and is located north of Florence in Viadana, just outside Bologna.

Fulvio Quercioli, CMC’s Sales Director for Italy, said, “We are really proud to welcome two professionals with proven experience such as Mauro and Filippo Rimondi to our sales network. Welcome to CMC, Mauro and Filippo.”

CMC, which just last month introduced a new range of insulated platforms with the launch of the i23 spider lift, said the dealer appointment was part of its plan to expand and consolidate its sales network in the work.

The strategy,  focusing its development strategy on the digital transformation of all processes and on the continuous training of its salespeople. An approach that has proved crucial for the success of the recruitment campaign for new sales representatives.

According to CMC, its distribution deal with Effemme was signed at the beginning of this year and is “already bearing fruit in terms of sales” and equipment deliveries.
