Denver boost for National Trench Safety

14 September 2015

National Trench Safety (NTS), a Houston, USA-based renter and seller of trench and traffic safety equipment, is opening a new branch in Denver, Colorado.

“Denver is a large metropolitan area with a strong construction market that we believe aligns well with our trench and traffic safety business,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS, which also provides trench and traffic safety engineering solutions and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant training classes.

“In the past year, customers have asked for our support on several large, complex projects in the greater Denver market.

“Adding this location will allow us to better serve these customers and grow the NTS brand throughout Colorado.”

The Denver branch will be managed by Richard Hearn, a veteran in terms of both trench safety and the company’s management.

Mr Hearn most recently managed an NTS branch in Tampa, Florida.

“We are excited that Richard has accepted the new position and has relocated to Denver to manage this new startup operation,” said Ron Chilton.

“Richard has experience opening cold start locations and is very knowledgeable about our equipment. He has already begun building a strong team in the market and we look forward to him establishing NTS as the premier trench and traffic safety supplier in the market.”

Denver is NTS’s 26th location in the USA. The company said it plans to open several more branches in 2016.
