DHH adds largest trailer to fleet

Diamond Heavy Haul has expanded its super heavy haul transporter line with a 325 US ton (300 tonne) capacity Dual Lane trailer. It is the largest in the fleet Operation can be with a perimeter deck for a maximum capacity of 450,000 pounds (200 tonnes), or with overhead suspension beams that have a maximum capacity of 650,000 pounds (300 tonnes).

Deck lengths vary from 40 to 90 feet (12 to 27 m) and width can be adjusted between 13 feet 6 inches and 26 feet (4 and 8 m). Deck height is restricted to 14 inches (350 mm) On 19 axles, including a four axle tractor, the trailer has hydraulic steering, adaptable track width and a double set of 550 horsepower Cat engines at the rear for extra traction.
