Finnish trailer mounted platform manufacturer Dinolift has entered the 'Spider' market with an 18.5 m working height, compact crawler mounted model, designed for use on a wide range of surfaces.

The outriggers on the Dino 185XTC are quick and easy to deploy providing a narrow footprint. The outriggers can raise the machine up to 1 m giving clearance for a small truck to drive under the chassis. The outriggers can be set up on uneven ground with a self-levelling system available as an option.

The Dino 185XTC uses Dinolift's XT-boom for up-and-over access, and at the 10.9 m maximum outreach the 0.7 by 1.3 m basket has an 80 kg capacity. Maximum basket capacity is 215 kg.

An 18.7 kW diesel engine and powerful drive system keeps the Dino 185XTC agile on tough work sites and an electric motor drive is available for indoor use to avoid noise and air pollution.

The two simultaneous movements of the boom can be operated proportionally by two joysticks, tracks are controlled proportionally. The construction of the chassis adds to the Dino 185XTC's stability particularly when driving on sloping ground: the machine has 43% gradeability.

With transport dimensions of 5.85 m long, 1.15 m wide and 1.98 m high and an overall weight of 3000 kg, the Dino 185XTC is compact to transport.
