Doosan has added to its range of high reach demolition rigs with the launch of the 44 tonne DX340 LC demolition specified machine. The machine provides a maximum working height of 22 m (72.2 ft) and can carry a maximum tool weight of 2,200 kg (4840 lb). The DX340 LC has been designed and built at Doosan's factory in Belgium specifically for the European market. Standard features of the machine include a hydraulically tilting cab and extendable undercarriage, which provides an undercarriage width of 2.9 m (9.6 ft) in transport mode and 4.1 m (13.5 ft) when fully deployed.

Doosan intends to offer a three model range of high reach machine at the present time. Demolition versions of the company's 37 tonne DX300 and 54.5 tonne DX420 excavators are currently available, with working heights of 17 m (55.8 ft) and 27 m (88.6 ft) respectively.
