UK-based rental company Dromad Hire claims to be the first company in Ireland to add the new Hinowa 15m boom lift to its fleet.

Hinowa’s boom – the Lightlift 15.70 Performance IIIS – offers a 15.4m maximum working height and is said to be ideal for working indoors or on rough and uneven terrain.

The 15.70 boasts compact dimensions, with an overall length of 4.02m, a width of 0.78m and stowed height of 1.99m. The length can also be reduced to 3.4m when the platform cage is removed.

Dromad’s Hinowa fleet now includes ten machines with working heights from 14m to 26m. Each machine was supplied by Access Platform Sales (APS), its UK distributor.

Seamus Byrne, managing director of Dromad, said, “It is vital we continue to offer our customers the most up-to-date equipment on the market.

“The new cutting edge features and ultra-compact design of the 15.70 really take it to a different level from traditional spider booms, allowing increased production and efficiency for the operator.”

Mr Byrne added that all of its Hinowa booms were Lightlift Performance IIIS models, insisting its customers would be familiar with the controls.
