Tracked access platform specialist Easy Reach Access Hire has added to its fleet with an Ommelift.

The company, based in Fife, central Scotland, has invested in a new Ommelift 2750 RXBDJ battery-diesel hybrid. It joins two other Omme tracked machines already in Easy Reach’s hire fleet.

Easy Reach purchased the new Omme from Access Platform Sales (APS), part of the IAPS Group. Peter Wood, owner of Easy Reach, said, “Because this is a true hybrid machine it is also incredibly flexible; it performs well working on historic buildings and inside stately homes as well as on urban construction sites.”

The 2750 RXBDJ is the largest spider in Omme’s RX range. Its articulated pantograph boom design enables working flush with a vertical wall. It provides a maximum working height of 27.5m, zero tail swing, maximum outreach of 15.5 m and a jib for added flexibility. Travel width is 1.5 m and there is variable stabiliser positioning for working in restricted spaces and levelling ability on gradients of up to 35%.

Founded in 2005, Easy Reach Access Hire is one of Scotland’s largest specialist tracked access companies, with a sole focus on these machines.
