The addition of water cooling provides flexibility, uptime and endurance and allows the alternator to operate effectively in restricted spaces. With the choice of anti-friction or sleeve bearings to meet specific application needs, the S7 water-cooled alternator which covers a power range of 1425 to 2644 kVA, with voltages ranging from 380 to 690V.

The unit includes Power Take Out (PTO) and Power Take In (PTI), a wide range of marine classifications including IP23 to IP54 and SOLAS. It supports overload capability of 110% for everyone in 12 hours (as per ISO8528) and has a 3x short circuit handling capability intended to maximize uptime, the company said.

Part of the Stamford S-Range, the S7 alternator includes a three-year warranty as standard, global 24/7 support and a genuine authenticity guarantee with hologram verification on every machine, the company said.
