01 May 2008

Leica geosystems has introduced a new dynamic weighing module for its MC200 Digger incab information system. The MC200 Digger provides the operator with information on the excavation depth and width in real time. The new module automatically weighs and records each bucketful, helping to load trucks to their optimum capacity. It also offers daily reports on productivity.

Klaus Madlener, Leica's program director for Machine Automation said, “When conditions are ideal, the Leica MC200 Digger can increase machine productivity by up to +40%.”
