Denmark-based TCA Lift has supplied a Falcon Spider FS290 tracked access platform to Taurus AVM for maintenance work on its soon-to-open shopping mall in Ankara, Turkey.

The Taurus AVM Shopping Centre has been developed at a cost of €200 million (US$ 265 million). Once fully operational, it will offer 130 stores, cinemas and food court.

The building boasts a large glass façade and glass roof. The Falcon Spider has been acquired to assist with cleaning and maintenance work.

The FS290 was craned into the building, and will have its own storage room inside the building when not in use.

The unit will assist with the finishing of the building and final cleaning before the grand opening.
