First Liebherr MK for Riga Mainz

Crane specialist and heavy transport provider Riga Mainz in Germany has taken delivery of its first Liebherr mobile folding construction crane, an MK 88.

The MK 88 has a maximum radius of 45 metres and a hook height of 30 m. Its standard luffed position of 45 degrees enables the crane to reach a hook height of around 60 m, the company said. Capacity is 8 tonnes and it can be driven, erected and operated by one person. Erection time is around 15 minutes, Liebherr said.
