ALL Erection has bought two Grove TMS9000E truck mounted cranes

ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. has added five Manitowoc Grove all terrain and truck mounted cranes to its fleet.

The purchase includes a 550 US ton (450 tonne) capacity GMK7550, Grove's largest all terrain crane crane; a 225 US ton (170 tonne) GMK5225, featuring a six section, 45 to 210 foot long full power boom, the longest in its class, says the manufacturer; a 250 US ton (227 tonne) GMK6250L with a 51 to 236 foot main boom; and two TMS9000E 110 US ton (90 tonne) hydraulic truck mounted cranes.

The new TMS9000E has a 36 to 142 foot (11.2 m to 43.3 m), 5-section full power boom and a 33 to 56 ft (10 to 17 m) bi-fold lattice swingaway extension, with optional lattice insert extensions for a 237 foot (72.2 m) maximum tip height. The new TMS9000E offers a 23% increase in overall capacities compared with Grove's previous model.

The GMKs are set for delivery by the end of 2011, while the TMS9000E is expected to be delivered in February 2012. "These five new cranes show our commitment to our fleet," said Michael Liptak, president ALL Erection & Crane Rental. "The versatility of the new TMS9000E is going to have an immediate impact on our truck crane fleet. The 9000's on-the-road capabilities, plus its higher capacity, bridge the gap between truck and AT cranes."
