Duplication of the second Gateway Bridge, part of the AU$ 1.88 billion Gateway Upgrade Project, Brisbane, Australia is now just over two years into construction.

The 750 m northern approach (pictured) has been constructed using a segmental match-casting method, which is also being used to construct the 350 m-long southern approach.

The 260 m-long main span and 130 m-long side spans are being constructed using a cast insitu method, casting segments at height from the two main piers.

The project is being delivered by Queensland Motorways with design and construction by the Leighton Abigroup Joint Venture.
