Geda has installed a permanent transport platform for Claas, one of the world’s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers.

A customised 3700 ZP P is providing reliable transport of bulky welding equipment from the ground floor to the first floor at Claas’s factory in Harsewinkel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The installation was anything but routine, as the customer placed great importance on having a significantly large platform, rather than just the stabdard high load capacity of up to 3,700 kg or seven persons. The platform, measuring 2.9m x 5m, is ideal for conveniently loading bulky equipment using a pallet truck or lift truck.
A special highlight is the electric ramp, which allows level access. In addition, Geda transport platforms can not only be used for transporting materials.

Although in this case a lifting height of one floor was required, the 3700 ZP P offers a maximum lifting height of up to 200m. The smooth start and stop process provides additional comfort, particularly benefitical with such low installation heights. Another plus point is that no machine room is required for operation.
Geda is no stranger to working with Claas, with the company using Geda’s temporary lifts on construction sites in the past. Claas said, “This renewed collaboration underscores Geda’s close customer relationship, reliable service and technical expertise.
“The project at a global company such as Claas is considered a particularly prestigious one and another example of how Geda implements tailor-made solutions for exceptional requirements.”
