Genie Benelux and GAS appointments

Thomas Meheust has been appointed as Genie sales director, Terex AWP, for Benelux, Israel and used equipment. Based in the UK, he reports to Jacco de Kluijver, Genie VP sales & marketing, Terex AWP, for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR).

After working in the access business with ATN and Youngman, Meheust comes to Genie from UNIC Cranes, where he was responsible for the company’s European sales.

Meanwhile, Arjen Snijder has been appointed as Genie sales director, Terex AWP, for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GAS region) and strategic accounts. After several years with Gunco where he supported Genie products, Snijder moved to tracked platform manufacturer Teupen where he held the position of sales director Europe for six years.

Today he joins Genie from Riwal, where he managed retail sales and business development. Based in The Netherlands and also reporting to de Kluijver, Snijder takes over leadership in Germany from Lars Raagaard, who is now fully dedicated to the role of Genie sales director, Terex AWP, to the Nordics region (Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Baltics), which is developing very fast.
