Customer Resham Singh in India has ordered the 1,000th Goldhofer self propelled modular transporter (SPMT).

The order is for a PST-SL-E 6 self propelled module with multi-way steering. The heavy duty modular systems have hydrostatic drive and maximum axle loads of 60 tonnes. The order brings the total of Goldhofer axle lines around the world to more than 4,000.

Stefan Fuchs, Goldhofer CEO, said, “We definitely have something to celebrate. The one-thousandth self propelled module is a clear reflection of the keen international market response to our combination system. We have so far shipped our self propelled transporters to over sixty different countries, and there are no signs of a let-up in demand.”
