Joe Scherzinger, Regional Vice President, said, “As construction continues to grow in the Birmingham metro area, we are excited to dedicate the resources and open our second branch in the market to better service our customers’ equipment needs.”

The new 2,460m2 facility sits on a 2.2ha site with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a repair shop with 10 service bays.

The facility is capable of servicing a variety of construction and general industrial equipment.

It joins H&E’s existing crane facility in serving the Birmingham area and is the fifth full-service Alabama branch.

The depot specialises in a range of equipment, including aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, earthmoving machinery, compaction equipment, generators and compressors. Brands range from Atlas Copco, Generac and JCB, to John Deere, Sullair and Tackeuchi.

In addition to equipment rentals, the depot sells new and used equipment, and offers in-shop and mobile service, spare parts and training.
