Haulotte Q3 sales down

13 October 2015

Haulotte Group consolidated sales were at €104 million for the third quarter of 2015 compared to €113 over the same period last year. This represents a -8% decrease. Cumulatively, sales were €310.8 million against €319.9 million at the end of Sept. 2014, a decrease of -3% (-10% including exchange rates.)

Excluding currency defecits, Haulotte's overall revenue continues to be propped-up by the North American market, which experienced a 24% increase. This is the company's best performance in North America for a quarter. Asia Pacific sales also were positive, representing a 13% increase. Europe remains down, with sales -21% due to "wait and see attitude of major rental comapnies." Latin America also remains difficult, the market was down -29%.
"Strong commercial activity during the summer and the level of order book at end of September allows Haulotte Group to confirm sales growth expectations of close to 5%," the company said in a statement.
