Haulottes bring up Turkish Airlines fleet

06 September 2016

Turkish Airlines has acquired two further Haullotte HA41RTJ Pro booms from distributor Acarlar Makine to complete its maintenance fleet of 46 units.

The company’s maintenance division Turkish Technic also serves domestic and international airlines at Istanbul’s Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen airports and Ankara’s Esenboga Airport.

The maintenance fleet comprises scissors, telescopic and articulated booms, all from Haulotte. Acarlar’s general manager, Serkan Acar said, “Turkish Technic have purchased a lot of Haulotte heavy duty scissors for the aircraft maintenance and several Haulotte big booms for the maintenance of the high ceilings inside the hangars”.

“They need these high access machines in the maintenance of electricity, ventilation and ceilings which are 36m high. Because of the importance of maintenance services which needs extremely meticulous work, high performance machines are essential.”

Celalettin Sarikaya, chief of Turkish Technic’s equipment said, “Acarlar is not here only to sell machines but they also specialise in providing the best after sales services to their customers. We care more about after sales support than pricing in our procurements for Turkish Airlines.”
