High speed

Diagrip is a new diamond cutting technology from Husqvarna that the company says increases cutting speeds, while retaining tool life.

“The Diagrip technology involves a specific treatment of the diamonds so that they are distributed optimally in the segments. The diamonds are also kept longer in the segments and can thus be fully utilised. The result is diamond tools with superior cutting capacity in all types of concrete”, said Michel Hubermont, Husqvarna's vice president of its Diamond Tools Construction business.

The company says this even distribution of diamonds, means a +20% to +30% increase in cutting speeds. Diagrip will be rolled-out across Husqvarna's range of this spring. This includes diamond blades for wall and floor saws, diamond rings, diamond drill bits and diamond wires.
