KTEG primarily serves demolition and civil engineering sector companies, providing specialist equipment such as multicarriers, tele-deep-reach equipment and battery powered crawler excavators, as well as demolition systems and digital assistance systems.

David Roberts, CEO of HCMUK, said: “HCMUK has a long and successful track record in supplying and supporting high quality, specialist machines into the UK demolition sector and so our appointment as the exclusive UK dealer for KTEG products was a natural step for us to take.”

As part of the appointment, HCMUK will be responsible for supplying KTEG’s range of specialist equipment to the British market.

This includes the company’s Powertree electric charging station, the ZE85 electric excavator and the KMC600P-7 demolition excavator, which has already been delivered to Leicestershire-based AR Demolition as part of a £2.6 million (US$3.3 million) investment programme.

David said: “AR Demolition are well known for their pioneering spirit and were the first to run KTEG machines in the UK, very successfully for several years now, and their decision to renew the KMC600 is a glowing endorsement for the product, and we are delighted to be supplying this highly flexible, productive, and durable machine to them.”

Harald Thum, CEO of KTEG, said: “We are very happy and proud that we officially handed over the key to these doors to HCMUK. Without a doubt, HCMUK is an excellent and experienced partner for sales and service for our products.”

“The KMC600P-7 for AR Demolition is a shining beacon that the whole demolition industry in UK will look at. The ZE85 and Powertree, shown at Futureworx are pioneering products, which will lead towards a sustainable and eco-friendly construction site in the future.

“These first achievements in cooperation between HCMUK and KTEG are just the start – we are looking forward to writing many more success stories together.”
