How to get to Bauma China

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) is strategically located in Pudong's key economic development zone. There is a public traffic interchange for bus and metro named Longyang Road Station, which is located on Longyang Road. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station to fairgrounds. Huamu Road Station is also nearby.

Br Air

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) is easy to reach from the two major aiports in Shanghai. The maglev provides quick and easy access to the fairgrounds.

The Expo Center is located halfway between Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao Airport—35 km from Pudong International Airport to the east, and 32 km from Hongqiao Airport to the west. You can take the airport bus or maglev directly to the expo center.

From Pudong International Airport

•By taxi: about 35 minutes. Cost is around RMB 120

•By maglev line: 8 minutes; RMB 50 for single ticket: (RMB 40 with air ticket); RMB 80 for round-trip ticket

•By airport bus line: Take Line 5 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or continually interchange Line 7 to SNIEC directly; about 50 minutes; RMB 16/19

•By Metro: Take Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change onto Line 7 to SNIEC; about 70 minutes; RMB 6

From Hongqiao Airport

•By taxi: about 50 minutes; around RMB 130

•By Metro: Take Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change onto Line 7 to get to SNIEC direct; about 70 minutes; RMB 6

By Train:

From the major railway stations, you can choose different modes of transportation to reach the fairgrounds.

From Shanghai Railway Station

•By taxi: Two places stand over 16km apart; around RMB 55

•By Metro: Take Line 1 to People’s Square, then change to Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change to Line 7 to SNIEC direct; about 50 minutes; RMB 4

By Transrapid (maglev train)

From Shanghai South Railway Station

•By taxi: about 25 minutes; around RMB 70

•By Metro: Take Line 1 to People’s Square, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change to Line 7 for SNIEC direct; about 60 minutes; RMB 5

From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station

•By taxi: about 35 minutes; around RMB 120

•By Metro: Take Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change to Line 7 for SNIEC; about 70 minutes; RMB 6

By Car:

SNIEC is located at the intersection of Long Yang and Luo Shang roads that lead from the city center over the Nan Pu Bridge and Yang Pu Bridge through Pudong.

Parking areas

There are 4603 park lots dedicated to visitors at the centre.

Car park charges: RMB 5 for one hour; maximum daily charge MB 40; rates apply to cars and all other light vehicles

By Public Transport:

Bauma China can also be conveniently reached by subway and bus.

By Metro

Take Line 1 to Chan Shu Road Station; take Line 2 to Jing An Temple Station; take Line 3 to Zhen Ping Road Station; take Line 4 to Zhen Ping Road Station or Dong An Road Station, then change to Line for to SNIEC.

Take Line 3 or Line 4 to Zhongshan Park Station; take Line 1 or Line 8 to People Square Station; take Line 4 or Line 6 to Century Avenue Station, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or change to Line 7 for SNIEC direct.

By bus

A number of public bus lines run through the SNIEC area: 989, 975, 976, Da Qiao No.5, Da Qiao No.6, Huamu No.1, Fang Chuang Line, Dong Chuang Line, Airport Line No.3, and Airport Line No.6.
