Newcastle-based Warren Access completed its acquisition from IAPS Group of the Height for Hire rental business and APS Training operation on 28 February 2013.

APS acquired Height for Hire in late 2010. Warren's acquisition follows the merger of APS with IPS last year to create IAPS Group.

Huntingdon-based Height for Hire is unrelated to the Irish-based access rental business of the same name and which operates in the UK under the name Easi UpLifts.

The deal gives Warren Access a location in the south of the UK. The Height for Hire fleet also adds extensively to that of Warren Access, with scissors, booms and vehicle mounts.

Warren Access’ fleet in Newcastle specialises in vehicle mounted platforms and tracked platforms. Now the entire fleet will be available from either the Huntingdon or Newcastle depot.

Warren Access’ Newcastle depot is also an accredited IPAF Training Centre. The Huntingdon training operation, which is an accredited centre for IPAF, PASMA, ALLMI and CAP, now complements this.
