Romanian rental company Industrial Access has added the first JLG self-propelled telescopic boom lift to be made in Romania to its fleet of 800 units.

The JLG 510 AJ boom is now available through Industrial Access to rent or buy, as the company is the distributor of JLG products in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldavia as well as being a rental company.

The 510 AJ was initially manufactured in Belgium but JLG has moved European production to its new plant in Medias, central Romania.

Stefan Ponea, CEO and managing partner of Industrial Access, said the fact that the boom is now manufactured locally has reduced both cost and delivery times.

The 510 AJ model offers an Advanced Design Electronics System (ADE), which provides increased fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The 510 AJ is also compatible with the Workstation in the Sky series of access platform accessories and attachments.

The boomlift has already been used on a number of projects in Romania, including the arena stadium in Cluj-Napoca and National Arena Stadium in Bucharest.
