Intermat's managing director recently took time out to learn about the IPAF training programme at an approved training centre. Valérie Queffelec is now the proud holder of a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) to use scissor lifts.

“The training was a mixture of theory and hands-on operation - it's a quick and efficient training,” said Ms Queffelec.

Joining her on the course was Xavier Poncin, Intermat's sales director, who also passed the course with flying colours. Mr Poncin has also worked with IPAF to draw up safety guidelines for access industry exhibitors and contractors at the show. The powered access exhibition guidelines are available at www.ipaf.org/ExhibitionGuidelines.pdf
