The IPAF North East regional meeting will be held on 23 June in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

It will be hosted by John Caffrey, managing director, Trainrite. In addition John Fecci, commercial director, Bolt Learning, will show how modern learning methods can electrify training and provide new inspiration.

Ron Jackson, product manager, JLG, will examine user interface changes in light of recent updates to the EN280 design standard.

Mark Atkinson, health & safety manager, Clugston, and chair of the UK Contractor Group (UKCG) MEWP Working Group, will provide an update on changes to the UKCG MEWP Good Practice Toolkit which was originally published in January 2014 with input from IPAF and the Strategic Forum for Plant Safety Group.

IPAF director of operations Giles Councell will give an overview of what IPAF does, including how members can get involved in the work of IPAF.

IPAF regional meetings are a simple and effective way to learn about the industry. They are open to both members and non-members, and end with a networking opportunity and light buffet supper for which there is a nominal charge.

This meeting takes place at the Newcastle Marriott Metro Centre, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE11 9XF.
