The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is to run ‘show and tell’ demonstrations on how mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) can make working at height safe and productive at the upcoming BICES exhibition in Beijing, China.

The Federation plans to run a series of presentations, each lasting 20-30 minutes, to illustrate why using MEWPs is one the safest ways to work at height.

IPAF members, including Airo, Dingli, Genie, JLG, Manitou, Mantall and Sinoboom, will show their latest MEWPs and give visitors the chance to tap expertise on selecting the right equipment for temporary work at height.

In addition, IPAF CEO Tim Whiteman will participate in the rental panel discussion at the International Rental Conference, being held in Beijing on 14 October.

IPAF will have a 100 square metre stand in the outdoor area of the show, and will also be represented at the CEA UK Pavilion.

The 12th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES) will take place 15-18 October, 2013, at the Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Centre.
