Access equipment replacement parts specialist IPS is launching its own branded range of workshop tools, PPE and consumables.

Kevin Shadbolt, operations director for IAPS Group which owns IPS, said, “Our customers are telling us that they want IPS to be a one-stop-shop for tools, consumables and PPE as well as replacement parts.

“With almost 15 years in business, we felt the time was right for IPS to share our expertise with our own product range. We are established as the name to trust for replacement parts; our goal now is to become the name to trust in consumables.”

This new range builds on the company’s recent launch of its own Power brand of 6V deep cycle traction batteries for aerial lifts, compatible with all leading powered access brands.

IPS was also recently appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Thermoil Battery De-Mister and Battery De-Sulfater products. These non-hazardous additives help optimise the performance and prolong the life of lead acid batteries used in access platforms.

The IPS consumable goods range includes: adhesive tapes, greases and lubricants, barrier cream, hand wash, air freshener, all-purpose cleaner, anti-freeze, dashboard wipes and plasters. Replacement parts and components include auto bulb kits, cables, hoses, tubing, grease nipples, universal joints, couplings, filters, clamps, fasteners, screws, welding rods, clips, pins and washers.

Hand tools on offer include: socket sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, bit sets, ratchets, flashlights, torches, step ladders and adaptors, plus power tools including air saws, air hammer/chisel, riveter and angle grinders.

The comprehensive PPE range features: 2-piece rain suits, hi-vis jackets, face masks, disposable overalls, gloves, ear defenders, 1st aid kit, goggles and safety specs, kneepads, safety boots and ear defenders. There is also a wide range of safety stickers and associated signage available.
