JCB has begun a £36 million (€ 54 million) project to double the capacity of its backhoe loader plant at Ballabgarh, near New Delhi, India. JCB first began manufacturing in India, at the Ballabgarh site, in 1979 and today has two other plants and 1400 employees in the country.
