JCB to debut new telescopic boom

JCB will debut three new products at this year’s ARA Show, Feb. 19-21 in New Orleans. The North American units will include the T65D telescopic boom, the S1930ED electric drive scissor and the CT160 dual drum vibratory compactor.

The T65D will mark JCB’s entry into the North American telescopic boom lift market, and the S1930ED scissor will be the company’s first e-drive scissor lift in N.A., as well.

Details of the machines have yet to be released, but its likely the S1930ED will be modeled off the company’s current S1930E (electric) scissor. which features an 18-foot, 9-inch platform height and 505-pound platform capacity. 

In addition to these new machines, the JCB booth (5839) at ARA will also be featuring several of the company’s existing machines that are of particular interest to the rental industry. These include:

  • G125 Generator
  • 35Z Compact Excavator
  • 3CX Compact Backhoe Loader
  • 2TS Teleskid
  • 505-20E Electric Compact Telehandler
  • Rapid Charger Box
  • 19E-1C Battery Electric Excavator
