JLG appoints new member to field sales, service support team

Bob Nelson has joined the North American field sales and service support team for JLG Industries, Inc. Nelson will serve as vice president, leading the team with development and implementation of sales, market development and field support initiatives for the company.

"Throughout his career at JLG, Bob has exhibited strong sales and service leadership," said Chris Mellott, JLG Industries vice president, sales and market development for the Americas. "In his expanded role, Bob will ensure that JLG field sales and service teams continue to deliver and improve upon the world-class support our customers have come to expect."

Nelson has been with JLG since 2003, when OmniQuip was acquired by JLG and he served as regional sales manager. In 2007, Nelso was promoted to regional vice president for the Mid-Atlantic region.
