La Bounty unveils demolition tools

06 April 2016

La Bounty, part of Stanley Infrastructure, has a range of universal processors from 1,770 kg (3,902 lb) to 14,000 kg (30,864 lb) designed to maximise the use of one attachment with a variety of changeable jaw sets.

At Bauma the company will introduce the UPX 450 and UPX 1800, which it describes as a first in a new platform of tools based on its original patent for a hydraulic excavator demolition tool, with dramatically decreased jaw change out times.

As well as having what La Bounty calls the industry’s best power to weight ratio, the UPX range has a streamlined design for better stress flow.

The products’ heavy duty 360° rotation system uses high strength fasteners and a piloted turntable bearing in both the bracket and the stick deliver added durability for the rigours of demolition work.

The UPX range has been designed for easy maintenance, with more access to hydraulic components and more removable covers. The swivel can now be serviced without disassembling the rotation system.
