Leguan Lifts new 135 tracked platform

Leguan Lifts of Finland, sister company of compact tool specialist Avant Tecno, will launch its 135 in the UK in May.

The Leguan 135 tracked platform has a number of new features designed to make operation easier, safer and more efficient.

Powered by a choice of 13 hp Honda petrol engine or electric motor, depending on internal or external use, the 135 provides automatic levelling with up to 13.2 m vertical and 6.8 m horizontal reach with a safe working load in any position of 140 kg.

With a more restricted envelope of operation the machine is capable of lifting up to 230 kg which allows two people and tools.

As with all Leguan platforms, the 135 is available mounted on either tracks or four wheels. The latter version is all-wheel drive and has a travel speed of up to 3 km/h whilst the tracked version provides all terrain ability, helped by a ground clearance of 265 mm. Both types feature a four speed transmission with two speed ranges for maximum on-site manoeuvrability.

In addition, a remote control unit is supplied as standard which enables the platform to be operated while either travelling or lifting and the telescopic boom system allows 360 degree rotation as well as a wide 120 degree jib to allow negative angles to be achieved.

The Leguan 360 will be launched in the UK during the Vertikal Days exhibition in May.
