Trailer manufacturer Broshuis reported deliveries of a large number of its SL Air trailers in recent weeks.

The SL Air trailers have a steering angle of 30 degrees and can be manoeuvred by remote control up to speeds of 25 km per hour. Most of the SL Air trailers were ordered with hydraulic steering override, a radio controlled steering system.

Customers included Tabergs Akeri, BTS, Hudson Trailers, Finnie Heavy Haulage, Schmidt Heide, David Hogg, Potteries Heavy Haulage, Wocken Spedition, H. Susenburger and Korduan Transporte.

UK transport company Alan Finnie is the first user of the SL Air trailers, a spokesperson said. The 4-axle SL Air semi-low loader was ordered as a replacement for a 6-axle semi-low loader with air suspension.

The SL Air can be supplied as a 3 and 4-axle semi-low loader and is available with wheel wells and ramp clips. Future developments of the model with additional features for crane transport are expected to go into production in 2016.
