Manulift introduces low-profile telehander

Canadian importer and distributor Manulift is now offering one of the lowest telehandlers in the marketplace, with the Merlo Panoramic 25.6 L.

This low-profile version is 15 cm (5.9-inches) lower than the regular model, with a total height of 177 cm (5 feet, 9 inches) yet maintains the load capacity and the performance of the P25.6. The unit has a lifting capacity of 2,500 kg (5,510 pounds) with a 6 m (20-foot) boom.

Because of its low profile, the Italian-made 25.6 L can enter inside buildings and give access to restricted areas.

Manulift predicts the model will be of interest to the demolition industry, as well as other types of contractors who have to access inside buildings or other narrow structures.

Manulift EMI, with branches in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Alberta, is the Canadian importer of Merlo products. In the past seven years, the company has sold more than 800 Merlo units.
