German rental company Max Bögl Transport und Geräte has purchased two 350 tonne capacity Terex AC 350/6 all terrain cranes.

The first was handed over to the Neumarkt, Bavaria-based company at the Terex Zweibrücken factory in Germany. It has a 51 metre main boom and strong fixed jib. The second was received a few days later in readiness to be put to work at a wind farm close to Neumarkt.

With a total length of 16.7 m (54.8 feet), the AC 350/6 is the smallest 6-axle and most compact mobile crane in the 350 tonne capacity class, said Terex. The manufacturer claims it is capable of working beyond its designation in areas normally suited to cranes below 220 tonnes and above 400 tonnes capacity.
