Nationwide Platforms' new super-depot in Bristol

UK powered access rental firm Nationwide Platforms has opened a 2.2-acre super-depot in Bristol, making it one of the largest powered access depots in Europe.

The new flagship facility will supply more than 750 mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) as well as 50 specialist vehicles. The new unit, located in Ashton Gate, replaces and consolidates three Bristol locations for the company.

The site also includes a 15,000ft² workshop and two training areas that will host IPAF, PASMA, IOSH and other practical and classroom-based courses. The Bristol depot will also be home to a new regional hire desk team, as well as housing meeting rooms for clients and partners.
